We are master key system experts
A master key system, featuring registered keys with specified authority, enables a high level of key control and security.
A well-planned and managed key system is easy to use, convenient and timesaving. It also has the benefit of offering security protection against unauthorised key cutting, forced entry, and lock manipulation. Unique key profiles ensure that users cannot have keys copied without written authorisation.
We'll help you to select the most appropriate system
A master key system is very versatile. We can explain exactly how you can use one to meet your specific security requirements.
Currently, we have licences for sevenl registered key systems. One is a UNION RKS system applying to their standard and high-security mortise locks. There are three high-security rated cylinder systems from KABA Grundmann of Austria and UNION of the UK; and two extra high-security rated cylinder systems from ABLOY of Finland. We have recently taken on the DOM Sigma Plus system from Germany.
Suitable for large or small user-bases
Each of these systems, which we build here at Ascot Locks, enables us to offer all the requirements of a comprehensive master key system – or just a single cylinder for a door lock or padlock.
We maintain records of all restricted keys issued and can make additional keys to code. Records and blanks are stored in our vault.
Where keys from another system are registered with a manufacturer, we can normally obtain copies or additional cylinders with Customer authorisation.
"Many break-ins are inside jobs where a burglar gets a duplicate made from a mate's key and just strolls in. Unfortunately for my profession, registered keys stop that happening."
